The Covid-19 Health worker Training app helps build the health worker capacity responding to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This COVID-19 Health Worker Training App is designed :
- to help Front Line Health Workers be better informed about the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and
- to enable front line health workers, epidemic response officers, and other strategic personnel better identify and manage patients who are infected with COVID-19 disease while minimizing the possibility of its spreading.
This COVID-19 Health Worker Training App has been developed by Plus91 Technologies with contributions by other organizations to help enhance the capacity of Health Workers globally for a response to the COVID-19 epidemic.
The Covid-19 Health Worker Training App contains 5 modules which help Health Workers and Volunteers learn about the:
- Description and Origin of Novel Corona Virus
- Signs and Symptoms of COVID-19
- Risk of Contacting COVID-19
- Precautions Against COVID-19
- Specimen Collection and Management Guidelines
There is a pre-test that users have to take before they start the modular training to set a baseline for their knowledge on the topics. After completing the 5 modules, a post-test is conducted to confirm their improvement in knowledge of the same.
Additional modules on FAQs, PTSD and the daily updated information on Covid-19 from their respective countries is available to the users after they complete the training so they can be updated on the same regularly.
